What is the worship service like?
We desire that our corporate worship be shaped by the Gospel - not tradition, culture, or personal preference. Our worship service is ordered to reflect the progress of the Gospel in the heart, and the Scriptural pattern of God's people responding to God's self-revelation to glorify Him.
The Gospel first affects the heart by enabling us to recognize who God is. That understanding leads us to see ourselves properly and confess our need for Him. We are then assured of God's grace and forgiveness - and our hearts respond in gratitude and humble petition for His help, so that we can please Him. God provides His Word to lend us that aid, and we take heed of His instruction - culminating in a renewed profession of our faith and celebration of the Lord's Supper. God then sends us out to live for Him as we sing His praises.
What about my kids?
We love kids and we have a lot of them! We welcome your children to stay with you in the service. We also offer a Nursery (babies - age 2) and a Junior Church (ages 3-5) for kids to get training in corporate worship (they are dismissed just before the sermon). A cry room is available for nursing infants or disruptive children - with a live stream of the service, comfy seating, a changing table, and some toys to help occupy your little one.
The first Sunday of every month is Family Sunday, where we encourage families to worship together in the auditorium. The Junior Church program will not be available, but the nursery and cry room will run as usual. We will also provide a space for families to practice worshiping together with a live stream of the service on Family Sunday.
How should I dress?
We want you to be comfortable. We're more concerned with your spiritual needs than we are with what you wear. Dress casually and you'll fit in just fine.
